Based
in Indianapolis, Ind., Andretti Autosport™ fields multiple entries
in the IZOD IndyCar Series and also campaigns multiple cars in Firestone
Indy Lights in a joint venture with AFS Racing.
Led by racing legend Michael Andretti, Andretti Autosport™ boasts three IZOD IndyCar
Series championships (2004, 2005 and 2007), two Firestone Indy Lights
titles (2008 and 2009) and has won the Indianapolis 500 twice (2005
and 2007).
As a brand, Andretti Autosport™ was born in November 2009 following the completion
of a transaction between the former shareholders of Andretti Green
Racing. Andretti and his former business partners announced in August
2009 their decision to split off their racing and promotions businesses
into two separate companies.
With well over 100 career race wins to its credit, the Andretti name
has grown to transcend the sport in which it has been a fixture for
the past 50 years. Michael's contribution to that success - 42 race
wins as a driver and another 34 as an IZOD IndyCar Series owner -
has been significant. Capturing the magnitude and longevity of those
accomplishments was the key to the brand development process.

Marco Andretti will drive alongside Frenchman Nicolas Prost and
Neel Jani from Switzerland in the #12 Lola-Rebellion LMP1 during
the legendary Le Mans race, which is held on the 12th and 13th
June, 2010.
The son of Michael Andretti and grandson of racing legend Mario
Andretti had his first drive in the Lola-Rebellion when he
joined the team during the official Le Mans Series test days at
the Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track on 7th and 8th March.
With their highly talented driver squads, mixing strong experience
of the Le Mans race and young guns, the Swiss team is, once again,
demonstrating its ambition for success in la Sarthe.
